Cousin Visit
So while we were in Lingle, we got to go visit Joel, Annie, Karlee, Trevor, and Hailey. We were super excited because Karlee had a t-ball game that night and we were going to get to go. We rushed back from Denver, but darn Wyoming weather cancelled the games. :( It worked out okay though because we got to go over to Joel and Annie's and spend some time with them and the kids. Hailey has gotten so big! It was so fun to watch her smile, laugh, talk, clap, and make funny faces! It was also so fun to see how good Karlee and Trevor are with little babies.

Excitement!
So, yesterday marked Bryell's two month birthday and we got quite the treat for it! Bryell slept through the night! We put her in her crib about 10:30, she cried a little bit so we gave her her binkie. Within minutes she had stopped crying and was asleep. Next thing I knew it was 6:47am and the monitor was going off! It was so exciting! Jeffrey said he woke up a few times to make sure the mat was working, but I didn't budge! We both ran over to her room and she was VERY hungry! I fed her and then she slept four more hours!
Unfortunately, I do not have information from her 2 month appointment. Our doctor was in the OR all afternoon and we had to reschedule her appointment. It is now July 2nd with the other doctor- which I am pretty excited about!

Bryell's Milestones!
Our vacation marked a lot of changes in Bryell. Bryell had recently started smiling a little bit more then just by accident, but on our Florida trip, she gave us lots of smiles each day, and even started to laugh and talk her cute little noises. She moved up to size 1 diapers :(, she slept for 5 hours straight! She can stand almost all on her own, she just doesn't have the balance quite yet. And she has pretty much outgrown her newborn pajamas. She now wears some 0-3 month onesies but still preemie pants.
Last night was the first night that Bryell slept in her crib. She is just about too big for her bassinet and we decided now would be a good time to switch her over. It was also the first night she slept in a 0-3 month pajamas. She is growing so big so fast!
Last night also marked the night that she slept by herself all night. Jeff and I sometimes struggle with her crying after she wakes up for her feeding. Instead of trying to get her to stop crying, we put her in bed with us. It seemed like an easy fix.. but we knew we had to stop doing that. Last night, we put her back in her crib and as she cried so did we... but the crying did stop, she did sleep and we all did survive.
Tomorrow is Bryell's 2 month appointment, I will keep you posted on her weight and height and put Jeffrey in charge of holding her as she gets her shots. :(

Vacation!
So Jeffrey, Bryell, and I took off from Lyman on June 6th. Our first stop was for Bryell to meet my brother, after that we stayed with Bryan and Anne. It was fun visiting with them even though it was for such a short time.
On June 7th, we took off for a wedding in Denver. My friend Lindsay was getting married. We went to the wedding and then met up with Josh, Kara, and Brecken to get ready for our flight on the 8th! I must say, traveling with a baby is quite a bit harder then traveling just us. I am not sure we could have survived without Josh and Kara's guidance! I am pretty sure everytime we left to go somewhere they had to wait at least 15 minutes for us to be ready. On the first plane I got the joy of changing Bryell's diaper in the tiny bathroom. I never realized how difficult that was to do in a confined space. We flew into Ft. Lauderdale and then we drove about 90 miles to Marco Island. When we got to the house we were staying at, we ran around checking it out and then were past ready for bed.
While in Florida, we went to the beach. It was quite hot at the beach but we found lots of seashells and saw lots of crabs. It was a wonderful experience when we got back to our rental van and realized we did not have the keys to it. It was almost as though we were being looked out after because it cooled off quite a bit while we were sitting outside of the van waiting for the boys to find the keys. Once the keys were found, they did not let us start the van. It ended up that we (I say we so we do not blame anyone in particular....) wanted the keys to go swimming with us. Them getting wet messed up the programming of the faub and it refused to work. The van had to be towed into Naples and the key reprogrammed. Luckily, Enterprise took Kara, me, and the kids back to the house so we could get them out of the sun.
We rented a boat and toured the island- we found a really fun beach to play at, saw dolphins, and took Bryell into the ocean for the first time. At all of our stops we continued to look for seashells. It seemed that every good shell Jeffrey found was being inhabited so he never truly got his 'perfect' shell. The boys also went fishing...kind of... Josh and Jeff aren't the best fisherman, the fishing part lasted about 10 minutes! :) But Jeffrey did catch a fish!
We went to the Everglades and everyone but Bryell and me took a fanboat ride checking out alligators. Someone had to stay back with Bryell and I more the willingly volunteered :).
We got to take a ride on Kara's uncles' company yacht. It was called the Ramblin Rose and was absolutely beautiful. We saw lots of dolphins and the captain gave us an overview of the island and different things we were driving by.
We went to the world's worst zoo ever- I do not recommend Naples Zoo. We honestly saw more on the walk into the zoo then in the actual zoo. It was quite sad.
Josh and Jeffrey went golfing at a golf course down there as a Father's Day present and they said it was a bit too close to alligators for them!
Each of us got to have a date night without the kids. Jeffrey and I went to a restaurant right off of the beach and got to sit on the patio and watch the sunset over the ocean while we were eating. It was beautiful. Bryell was an allstar at traveling. She is such a laid back baby. We have so much fun with her and are so happy that she traveled so well.
We flew back into Denver on the 18th. From there, we went to Lingle to visit Craig, Lennie, PeeWee, Mae and dropped by to see Aunt Lucille. It was a quick visit with them because we had to head to Alliance on the 19th so we could take off for Lincoln on the 20th for a family reunion. The family reunion was on the 21st at Mahoney State Park. It was a pretty area and there was a really good turnout. It was fun seeing some of my family that I hadn't seen in years and years. It was also fun trying to do the three-legged race or the sack races and we played a great American race which involved doing a few different things of the sort. It brought out the kid in us adults :).
We went back to Alliance the night of the 21st and then headed home on the 22nd. It wasn't until a little bit before Rock Springs when Bryell decided she had had it. And even with deciding that, she still did amazing! What a trooper!

Almost back!
For you that are wondering where we have been, I wanted to tell everyone we will be back next week and I will update the blog! We have been very busy but I will get you posted ASAP!
