Can you believe it??!! Wow, the time sure has flown by so quickly! Bryell is 9 months today! We have enjoyed every minute of it! She is beginning to hold on to our hands and walk around the house (the kitchen is a bit hard for her since her feet slide all over). Its so cute to see the huge smile on her face as she walks around. She completely gets the crawling thing but can't seem to put it all together. She now moves her hands just fine but when she tries to move her legs, everything else doesn't cooperate and she ends up giving up and going to her belly. She can get everywhere she wants by doing her log roll combined with going from her bum to her hands and knees and reaching out as far as she needs to. She is beginning to roll to her belly and sleep on her belly at night. Its pretty cute.
Bryell is such an amazing little girl who brightens our life each and every day. We love you! Happy 9 months!

Birthday Weekend
This weekend was my birthday weekend and it was so nice to just lay low. On Friday Jeffrey was gone to a basketball game, on Saturday we went out to dinner as a family, on Sunday we went to Evanston and on Monday we stayed at home and watched movies! While at dinner we had Bryell in her carseat. We were looking at her in it and realized that...she was too big for it!! How sad, sad but true. She is growing way too quickly. So our trip to Evanston was actually supposed to be to Salt Lake to buy Bryell a new carseat but when we found what we wanted in Evanston, it made the trip lots shorter! She now officially has a bigger carseat!
Jeffrey bought me a stadium seat and a deep fat fryer for my birthday. I was super excited about the stadium seat! I did have to give him a hard time though since I made it a whole season very pregnant without one and now he decides to get me one :) Although I must admit, with how amazing our community is, when I was pregnant I did not have a game that I did not have a stadium seat because someone was always willing to loan me one. Anyway, I am very happy to have one of my own! The five hours on a hard bleacher really take a toll on my bum!
Unfortunately there is nothing else really new. During basketball season, that tends to be our life!

Christmas Again!
This past weekend my parents came to celebrate Christmas with us. That means that maybe this weekend we can finally get the Christmas tree down! We had an original plan to meet up with my parents in Cheyenne but the roads did not allow for that so they came up this weekend and we got to do Christmas and they got to see one of Jeffrey's basketball games. We hung out pretty much just at home with the exception of heading to the basketball games. Bryell got a little activity table which can entertain her literally for hours at a time! We had fun watching her play with that. he has now discovered that it is light enough and she can push it and pull it (still sitting of course). We took them to the house that we want to buy. (SO FAR we haven't had much action on our house so who knows). Having my parents here made me realize how homesick I am (can it be homesick if technically that isn't my 'home' anymore?). I have only been back about 3 times since June and none of those times was for longer then one night. :( I am glad they drive up here a lot so we still get to see them!
While my parents did not make it to Cheyenne over break, we still went and got to see my brother and Bryell got to meet Kyle and Donna. Kyle and Donna were on their way to the airport so stopped in Cheyenne to go out to breakfast with us. We got to see Kellan, Kip, and Cecil also. Bryell of course would not let anyone hold her for longer then about 30 seconds. It was fun to see Eric also. You would think with us both living in Wyoming now we would see each other a lot more, but our work schedules just don't allow it!
This is my last week for a little while of working Fridays. I am still coming in most Fridays to sub for Jeff, it just won't be for all day. We have asked if Lindsay would take Bryell again next year and are waiting to hear her answer.
Bryell still isn't crawling. She gets on her hands and knees and rocks and will pick up her hand and move it but can't quite get the coordination to crawl. She stands up holding onto things a lot better now. We still have to be around her when she is doing this because she will randomly decide to let go and go flying backwards.
I did not quite make my weekly post but am much closer then I have been!! We are still having IPhoto issues but pictures will come as soon as they are fixed!

Sandlian Christmas
We went to Saratoga to celebrate Christmas with PeeWee, Craig, Lennie, Joel, Annie, Kara, Josh, and all the nieces and nephews. While Jeffrey and I were very overly tired from no sleep (literally) the past few days we managed to still have a wonderful trip. Bryell was up to her new normal ways crying whenever anyone tried to hold her. It is the fakest cry in the world though!
It is always so fun to watch the cousins play. Bryell got in a little on the action. WHile getting attention from all the cousins, her main one was playing with Hailey and getting lots of hugs from her. Its really fun to watch those two play since they are so close in age. Brecken is still determined to teach her to crawl and does so well having patience with her and working with her. The cousins got a lot of smiling and giggling from Bryell. So did Ditka the cat.
On the drive home Bryell did really good- until the last half hour. It was spent crying. But I must admit last night was the best nights sleep we had gotten in a long time. She wasn't up all night in pain which was wonderful. And we even slept in.
Also, her bottom two teeth have officially broken through!
Tomorrow it is back to work. Breaks go by so fast! I am almost on my quarter of Fridays off but will go in and sub for a few hours on most Fridays for Jeffrey still.
We are working on getting our IPhoto working and as soon as we do, I will post pictures!

Day 1 of the New Year's Resolution!!
I'll have it start today!
Here's whats new:
We are having some IPhoto issues so can't upload pictures. We may have to wait until we are back in school and talk to our tech people and see if they can help us. Don't worry- we are still taking pictures- we have 2 memory cards to upload when we finally get it working again.
Christmas was a blast! We stayed here on the actual day and Santa definitely visited! It took Bryell a few presents before she had the hang of tearing the paper off of the presents. Don't worry, her daddy let her unwrap every one and it ended up being quite a long process. Very fun though! She of course would look at the present about 2 seconds and go back to the paper :)
We were supposed to take off the 26th to go to Cheyenne and meet up with my parents, brother, and later Kyle and Donna and Sara. Plans sure change with Wyoming weather! First off, we couldn't make it there on Saturday, we had to wait until Sunday when the roads were open. Next, Sara and my parents couldn't make it because of the roads. Luckily, we saw Kyle and Donna and my brother. We also stopped by Bryan and Anne's and visited with them for a little while. Bryell pretty much wanted nothing to do with anyone except Jeffrey and I. Gotta love this age!
The news and main reason why I have not done well on the blog so far since my resolution is that Jeffrey and I decided to put our house on the market. It is not officially 'listed' yet but we have had a guy come look at it. No news yet. Hopefully by next week, it will officially be on the market. We have spent the break doing anything but relaxing. We have painted three rooms and CLEANED! It is almost like a completely different house. So, if you know of anyone in this area looking for a home- send them our way!
On New Year's Eve we went to Heidi and Jared's with a few other couples. We ate, played games, and had a blast! We only stayed until about 10:30 but it was so nice to get out and see people!
Today, Jeffrey has practice and then we are heading up to Saratoga for Christmas there. My parents weather pending will be visiting next weekend.
Bryell continues to change everyday. She is teething and it is affecting everyone's sleep. I feel so badly for her, it seems that nothing can make the pain go away. I just cuddle her and want to cry because I know she is suffering so much. She can now successfully get from her bum to her hands and knees but still only rocks when she gets to that point. She is much more vocal-constantly talking and making noises. Right now, her teeth are acting up again so I am going to go cuddle with her again. I hope this stage goes quickly, I hate the pain she is in!

New Year's Resolution
I realize it is a bit early to have a New Year's resolution but I have to say that mine is to try and update the blog a bit more. I am going to aim for at least once a week. I don't want to have some of you who check this daily to give up on me because I never update! Let's see if I can hold to it :) :) :)
Tonight Jeffrey is at a basketball tournament. I went and hung out with some people from work for awhile and really had a lot of fun. I got a babysitter for Bryell and just had some 'me' time. It was definitely a change! The neighbor girls came over and watched Bryell. When I got home I could tell that they adored each other! Bryell was laughing so hard at the girls and they told me everything they had done throughout the night. It is super exciting to know that Bryell likes those girls because they are only middle schoolers and live right next door so will be called many more times!
Jeffrey had a team night last night and took Bryell with him. He said that Bryell acted very shy most of the night. She let the girls that she knew hold her but was pretty timid about letting the others. I think Jeffrey enjoyed showing her off!
I also wanted to apologize. I promised long ago that I would post pictures. I cannot seem to locate my camera and the cord to upload pictures at the same time. They will come as soon as I get it all together!

Shopping Trip
So last weekend Jeffrey had his first overnight trip. We had planned to go to but the people we were riding with had something come up and Bryell hadn't been feeling the best so we decided a big change of routine and lots of driving in the car wasn't a good idea. Bryell and I decided instead to head to Rock Springs on Saturday and try to finish up Christmas shopping. I found that it was a lot harder to shop with Bryell on my own! We did have fun and it was good for me to finally do all of it on my own, but it definitely was different. Bryell did so great too! It was some good bonding time. Towards the end she started fussing but only because she was hungry and it was naptime.
Bryell continues to change everyday. For starters, she is getting SOO BIG!!! She is starting to scoot. She can get on her hands and knees but isn't quite at the crawling stage yet. She has learned how to get wherever she wants to get though by rolling and scooting. She does great at entertaining herself. Some days she would rather play on her own then with us! She loves to listen to books and bang on the pages as we read. She can feed herself now and loves to talk and hear her own voice! She is starting to put sounds together that sound like 'dada' and 'mama.' Its super fun to watch her grow!
Last night Bryell and I went to a Christmas party (Jeffrey had evening practice). Bryell did so good at letting everybody hold her! However, she had missed her evening nap so by the end of the party she was definitely ready for bed. It was the cutest thing and I was super excited though. For the first time EVER she reached out for me! She wanted to sleep and I think there were just too many people there but she saw me and reached out to me!! I of course took her more out of excitement then anything else!
We have another weekend alone coming up this weekend. No exciting trips planned on this one though.
