So its been a super long time since I have updated!
I got back from Lincoln after lots of airline drama! My flight got delayed from 7am to 9am, THEN it got delayed from 9am to 11am, making me land in Denver at the exact same time my flight out was supposed to leave. I begged them to let me keep my seat just in case we landed early, but they were quite set on me having to get on the next flight, which would have me on a FOUR HOUR layover in Denver. I was upset, but went along with it finally. Those poor customer service representatives were having a horrible day and definitely didn't need me to add to it. Well, I landed in Denver and turned to the left because my next flight's gate was right there. Turns out, they hadn't even started boarding my next flight. I ran to customer service to ask if I could get back on. She kept saying she was sorry but the plane was full. I was crying and arguing with her and she said I could be on "standby." So there I stood, watching my flight board and not being able to do a darn thing about it. THEN they called my name over the intercom as a missing passenger. I ran over to her booth and told her it was me, and of course she asked for my boarding pass- which I didn't have. Ugh, she told me to talk with customer service, who had a line about 10 people long at this point. I was on my way to her booth when my name is called over the intercom AGAIN! I go back to her and ask if she could talk with the customer service lady. I got this in reply "I'm sorry ma'am, just trying to do my job." Not sure how that helps me AT ALL. So I turn around in time to see the customer service lady running over to me holding a boarding pass! Apparently, they had checked me in in Omaha, so I was already set to be on the flight! I am the absolute last person on the flight and get lots of stares. THEN the lady who took my boarding pass comes on the plane and says someone is on the plane and shouldn't be. I had about 5 people ask if that was me. UGH! The lady had to go through EVERY SINGLE PASSENGER to make sure the correct people were on the flight! Talk about a mess! The good news is- I was on the passenger list! YAY!! I eventually got home, but that flight ended up being delayed two hours as well.
I did have a lot of fun getting to see Robyn and Sara. I definitely do not see them enough!
While I was gone, Allie came over and babysat Bryell. They went for walks, went swimming, and did lots of playing! Bry really likes Allie and we are pretty lucky to have her!
Jeffrey has been busy with basketball camps and also helped with a special needs camp up by Meeks Cabin. This year, Bryell and I got to head up there and spend dinner with Jeffrey and all of his fellow workers and campers! It was really fun!
He is currently at a camp in Colorado. He came back from Camp Carpe Diem Saturday at 9 in the morning (got off early- was supposed to be most of Saturday as well), came home, we drove to a wedding, and drove back Sunday. He had to wake up and leave at 4 in the morning on Monday! He will be gone until Thursday. After that, our summer will start!
Bryell is bear crawling everywhere. She refuses to walk- although she definitely could. She takes her walkers now and walks BACKWARDS with them! She is consistently saying 'mama,' 'daddy,' 'uh-oh' and we think that any animal is "BA!" I love watching her grow and learn new things.

...and I'm Off!
We have officially finished our fourth year of teaching and can't believe it! My first class I ever had is moving to the middle school next year, so it was a bit hard for me! We said goodbye to our librarian, Kathy, and our third grade teacher, Mike. That made this end of the year that much more tearful. Jeffrey, Bryell, and I headed to Salt Lake City yesterday. We stayed in a loft apartment. It was a blast! With the stairs, Bry kept crawling up and down them. She felt like a very big girl! We took her to the pool. She was crawling in and out and in and out of the pool and having a blast! It was a bit too cold for her to go in deeper, she was fine from the waist down, but didn't like it much past that. Of course, I didn't have the camera :(
I am officially off on my weeklong venture to Lincoln. I flew out at 7 this morning and am on my layover in Denver.

A Day at the Park
We took Bryell to the park. It was super exciting- she first got to swing in the swings, with a huge smile on her face, then she got to go down the slides with daddy, loving every minute of it, THEN she went down the slide ON HER OWN! She smiled and giggled and had an absolute blast. Of course I did not have the camera to capture these moments, but it was really fun to see how happy she was! We came home and Bryell went straight to sleep- she was exhausted from the day at the park!
Tonight Bryell for the first time stood on her own! She has done it without thinking for awhile, but the second she notices she is standing she drops. Tonight she consciously let go of the things she was holding onto to stand on her own. And she lasted quite a long time! You could tell she was proud of herself by her big smile on her face. She could bounce and move and wave while standing! She is getting quite the balance!

Two Relaxing Weekends
Well last weekend, we didn't do much. It was snowing outside all weekend so we were pretty much stuck inside. This week was a bit eventful. Bryell got sick on Wednesday. She had a low grade fever all day so I didn't think too much of it. We went to a retirement party and when we got home, Bryell was BRIGHT RED. We took her temperature with the temporal thermometer- it said 105.7. We tried again- it said 106.3. Jeffrey tested it on his head-it said 98.3. We ran and got another thermometer. This one said 103.7. We were pretty stressed. I called our school nurse and she told me that we needed to take Bryell in. She had been coughing at night for about a week so our nurse said the fever and the coughing could mean something, so take her in. We headed to the ER in Kemmerer. When we got there, they were PACKED. They had just admitted six people in the last 10 minutes. We weren't exactly high on their list (Bryell's temperature had gone down), so we were placed in a recovery room. The nurses were in and out making sure we were okay. We did not see the doctor for TWO HOURS. He came in, checked on her a bit and decided it was allergies. Both Jeffrey and I were caught a bit offguard by this, but took the prescription and went home. I was talking with my mom about this and she said that there is a lady in her building who was told the same thing and every time her son's allergies flare up, he gets a fever, she said its rare, but it does happen. We started her on the medicine last night. Of course, I'm crazy enough to believe that its made a difference already! :)
This week was also the First Grade Field Trip. We went to the Treehouse Museum in Ogden and had a blast! We plan on taking Bryell there this summer.
This weekend is graduation weekend. We plan on going to receptions this afternoon. We want to go into Utah either tomorrow or Monday. This is my last weekend at home for a little bit. I fly out to Omaha next Saturday and stay a week for my college class then will fly back the following Saturday, only to start summer school on Monday! We end summer school with Jeffrey taking off to a basketball camp.
I will post pictures soon!

Outdoors!
We took Bryell outside this weekend. We sat in our grass in the backyard. Bryell played on the grass for a few minutes then decided she needed to crawl off the grass onto the dirt. We would put her back on the grass and she would take off again. So we decided to put her in the sandbox. She LOVED it! She sat there digging holes in it and throwing it. We covered her legs with it and instead of lifting her leg, she would uncover it a handful at a time. Sunday we went for a super long walk- Bryell likes the outdoors a lot. I opened the front door just to see what it was like outside and she took off across the room to the door and crawled outside. We played out front on her new toy and then she crawled around the front yard awhile. I am loving this gorgeous weather! I'm ready for it to be here to stay!
Bryell knows how to shake her head no now. She was laying between us and we were asking her for kisses. She would lean in and of course slobber on us. We kept taking turns doing that then she apparently got tired of it. I asked her for a kiss and she shook her head no and went on playing with her doll!
Also, this is a normal day trying to shower. She really likes the water and wants to crawl in whether its her turn or not.

Our new daycare has been amazing. Bryell seems to love it there! She has a blog to tell the parents what their kids do all day! I put it on the links on the right side of our blog- check it out, its pretty exciting!

Another Birthday!
Since my parents got snowed out for Bryell's party, they just sent her presents. I kept telling them to wait because I was going to be in town the first weekend in June. I changed my mind so they sent them out. We got them yesterday. Bryell opened them all and loved them! One of the gifts was a baby stroller. We put her baby in the stroller and had her walking around the living room. She stopped, went around to the front of it, threw out the baby, and tried to crawl in! It was hilarious! She didn't want anything in her stroller except her.

My mom had made some awesome cookies for the party so some of those were also sent.
