Sheetrock!
Its finally up!!! Well, kind of. J is out of town from today thru Saturday with a brief dropping by on Thursday. I made up for sleeping this weekend. I actually cut and hung sheetrock by myself! J was mud and taping and I was working on my own! Yay! I admit, that is something I NEVER thought I would do! I am going to finish some sheetrock in the closet and then we will only have two spots left, both of which I can't do on my own because they need things drilled in them. I couldn't get a good picture of the sheetrock (Kara-Stacey- any pointers??) so there isn't an updated picture, but it is starting to look like an actual room!

Waiting....
The wedding is getting closer and closer and I am so excited! And ready! I keep going onto the website where we are taking our honeymoon and it seems like it can't come soon enough!
We stayed at Heidi and Jared's all weekend. We also got the plumbing done, well all except the shower was done, and we framed in the bathtub. I was available to help and actually did for a little while. Then J went into the crawl space. He told me to stay upstairs and hand him things and help him that way. I sat on the tub waiting for him to hollar up for help. Next thing I know, the doorbell is ringing and I am curled up in the tub sleeping. Apparantly, I wasn't much help!
We took a trip to Home Depot on Saturday. We were in Home Depot for FOUR HOURS!!! We got a credit card to save 10% and they forgot to give us the discount, so they had to start all over and to key all of our items in one by one. The lady that did it was really nice and we had good conversation, so that was fun.

Rotten Wood!

I need to make a correction. It was SPRAY insulation, not liquid, oops. Well, we ran into a hiccup today. J pulled up the tile today and our floor was ROTTEN. The toilet had sprung a leak and rotted out the wood. Luckily, Heidi and Jared had some sub floor that we could borrow, so the hiccup didn't stall us, slowed us down, but we can handle that. Here is a picture looking from J's room into the bathroom and a picture of the floor with no tile.

Thankful for Heidi and Jared!
There is not a lot new. When we (ha ha, we, lol) tore out the ceiling, there was liquid insulation and it was the original liquid insulation. It made a HUGE mess and KILLED my allergies. I walked in after work and pretty much had to turn around and walk back out. I worked at school last night until about 7:30. We ordered pizza and ate it at school. To prevent an allergy attack, we stayed at Heidi and Jared's last night. We are SOOO lucky to have them as friends! When I got up to go to work in the morning, pretty much everyone was still asleep, we stayed up late last night watching a western that was actually pretty good (the half that I was awake for). I am glad Jeff kind of slept in because he worked crazy hard yesterday! And unfortunately, has a lot more to do.
I have four students this morning and will have two this afternoon. It is the opening of the summer reading program so we are taking a field trip to the library. It is easy lesson planning, and something fun for the students, it is summer after all! The students I have for this session are students that I had two years ago. It is kind of fun because they are from my first class!

The demolition has begun!

I realize that I do not have before pictures, but here are some demolition pictures, I couldn't wait to put them on here! The toilet is still in there but the sink is missing also! I didn't put that picture on here, it wasn't half as fun as these others!
So I am at school with TWO kids this afternoon and Jeffrey is slaving over this bathroom! He sends me updated pictures every hour or so. Looks like fun, but I wouldn't want to do it.
Tow-and-Go
Yesterday we took a trip to home depot in Rock Springs. Since we are not fortunate enough to have a truck, we got the joy of renting on from home depot. Not only was it very ugly, it was rather expensive! But we have everything except the tub and the tile! I have before pictures that I will post after I remember to bring the camera to upload it. I have a picture of the truck. This is when we just pulled up and were getting ready to unload. It was great, Heidi and Jared came and helped us unload and then after we got back from returning the truck and they had dinner ready for us! We were soooo grateful! Jeffrey is tearing out the bathroom as we speak!!!

Misc.
Thank you so much for all of your comments! Its so exciting!
My parents came down this weekend. It was a nice visit. We went golfing on Saturday and it was the first time that I had been out on the golf course this year. My first five holes were pretty scary! I was getting so frustrated that I just picked up my ball and threw it a few too many times. My last four were bearable though, in fact they were actually somewhat good!
I met my next years class today. Well, those that were here at least. I asked them if they had any questions about first grade and I called on one that raised his hand. His question was, "Your class says your mean, are you mean??" Hmmm... i have a reputation....this could be good or bad!!! I was actually somewhat sad but hey, thats what I get for being mean! :)
Tomorrow is FINALLY the last day of school! I have had three kids check out already and am assuming I will have a few more not attend tomorrow. I am not sure why I have been counting down because summer school starts on Wednesday! That doesn't really make for much of a break. But I am doing second grade summer school so that will be a nice change.
Our bathroom is scheduled to be demo-ed on Wednesday! We made sure Heidi and Jared's was up and running before we planned that. We are SOOOO excited to get an updated bathroom, it is a much needed change. We picked out the tile this weekend and the cabinet. I think we will have quite the hang up because we do not actually HAVE anything yet. It is all enjoyable to look at in the store though! We just hope that between Jeff, Heidi, Jared, and I, we can figure out how to put the bathroom back together, cross your fingers!!!!!
