So there is lots new that has happened and I have not had a computer to fill everyone in! I am embarrassed to admit this but I spilled water on our computer several weeks ago. The computer stopped working and then randomly this morning started working!
The weekend of the 7th-8th, my parents came up and visited. They both took off work on Monday and Tuesday to stay with Bryell so Jeffrey and I could head to the Monday night game in Denver- Broncos-Steelers! It was an absolute blast! Our seats weren't quite as good as they were the last time we went but they were still pretty good. We could see the whole field perfectly. Where we sat, the lady next to us was a season ticket holder. She was less then impressed with me in my steelers gear but was pretty good spirited about it. Everytime I would stand up waving my terrible towel when I sat down she was more then ready to give me the orange pom so I could even out my cheering. :)
The next weekend we took a quick trip back to Lingle to attend Jeffrey’s uncle’s funeral. It was a sad yet happy day. It was so fun to hear of stories of such a wonderful man. I also got to meet some new family. It was nice to see everyone. I wish the occasion was a happier one. You could see how close all of the family really is.
We ordered a new table the start of September. It came but was damaged so we rejected it. There wasn't communication between the shipping company and the shipper so at the start of November I called the furniture company. Too make a very long story short they had to reorder the table and said no way we would get it by Thanksgiving. We were super sad but....Tuesday evening we got a call- the table was ready to be dropped off! They dropped it off BEFORE work! We had our table for Thanksgiving! My parents came up over Thanksgiving. It was very nice to have them here for an extended period of time and to be here for it. My mom and I made soup to can while Jeff and my dad loaded up on watching lots of football. My mom also helped me figure out my sewing machine again! We made a holder for the table leaf!
Over Thanksgiving, we were quite surprised by some very unexpected visitors in the shed. We went out to get some Christmas stuff and when we open the door we hear lots of scurrying around. Mice! Not just one or two but TONS! Some grass seed had leaked out so they had made a nice home in the shed. Ugh. We had to completely clean out the shed. It took us a couple hours but I am happy to say the shed is now mouse free. :)
Bryell has started clapping. Its the cutest thing. She is now rolling over much more and can go from sitting to her belly. She can't quite scoot yet but can roll around from belly to back enough to get where she wants to go. She is much more adventurous now. Its true she has taken a couple tumbles trying to get at things she shouldn’t. Sometimes I think that she will give up because she is scared she will hurt herself again, but she picks herself up and is at it right again. It is so exciting to see Bryell’s progress yet so sad to see how quickly she is growing up.
Now that we have a working computer I will start to update more frequently. I will load pictures on this evening and post them from the last month!

Halloween!
Bryell's first Halloween. It was a lot of fun. Most people here do the trunk or treat so when Heidi and Jared invited us to go with them we were very grateful. It is a lot easier with a baby- and a lot of fun! Its where you go park in the church parking lot and open your trunk and the kids go around from trunk to trunk getting candy. Some people decorate their trunks, some don't. There were a lot of people that we knew there so it was really fun. Bryell held on tight to her candy basket, but lasted about 5 trunks and then cuddled up to daddy and fell asleep.

We also carved pumpkins. Bryell at first was very hesitant and wondering why we had set her in front of a big orange thing. But after Jeff let her feel some of the goop inside, she had a lot of fun playing in it.

Here are the finished products!

After carving pumpkins we went over to Noelle and Stephen Carter's house. Noelle teaches fourth grade and they have a daughter that is one month older then Bryell. The two girls had a lot of fun playing together. The adults (Stephen, Noelle, Jared, Heidi, and us) played yahtzee. It was a really enjoyable time.

On Sunday, we met Bev and David for lunch. They got to meet Bryell and see our town and home. We didn't realize how long it had been since we had seen them so we were really excited when they called and said they were coming through!

Six Month Checkup and then some
So last week we took our bi-monthly trip to costco. We always strap Bryell up in the belly carrier because she really doesn't like sitting in her carseat for that long. Jeffrey and I had split so he could backtrack and go get something we had missed. I waited about five minutes and then wondered what had taken him so long so backtracked to find him. He was standing in an aisle talking to an older women. As I walked over there I hear Jeffrey saying 'and this is her mother...' the lady looked at me and said, 'I can definitely see that- you're daughter is just beautiful.' She had stopped Jeff and was just going on and on about Bryell. Her daughter was there and was telling her mother that it was time they let us get back to shopping. The lady was tearing up telling us how beautiful Bryell was. It was the sweetest thing ever.

The school had their Halloween parties at school yesterday so we took Bryell with us. I was not technically working so came up with her and had Cassie watch her when we were busy. Here she is watching the magic show with Jeffrey.

At my class party the students wrapped Janessa and I up like mummies. It was a blast!

We took Bryell to her six month appointment yesterday. Dr. Starr told us that she was growing and developing on track. He said he saw that her gums were swollen and was pretty sure she was beginning to teethe. She was 27 inches long and weighed 15 pounds, 12 ounces. Her first shot this time did not even phase her but she did cry on the last two.
Aysha and Elise are spending the weekend with us. They are such sweet girls. They are also really good with Bryell. You can tell Bryell likes them- they get lots of smiles! We made playdough last night and then created masterpieces with it! We did some painting, did monster mashups and watched Firehouse Dog, which is a really cute movie.

Happy 6 Months!
6 Months.
A half year.
Holy Moly! I cannot believe how FAST this time has gone! Bryell is 6 months old today! She is growing and developing so quickly and its so sad yet exciting at the same time. I know this time will keep going quicker and quicker....
In these six months Bryell has been the light of Jeffrey and I's life. Anyone who does not believe in miracles is not a parent, has not held a baby, or has not had a baby smile at them. Bryell is truly a gift from God.
While we were super excited that Bryell rolled from front to back AND back to front, she does not seem super motivated to do it very much. I have only seen it happen about 2 other times. She LOVES to play and sleep on her side so constantly rolls to her side, jut not always the whole way. She has found her voice and will lay on the floor screaming high pitched screams just because she loves the sound of it and loves that she can do it. She is getting so LOUD! Our ears are usually throbbing after 10 minutes constant of this! Bryell is eating one meal a day of solids, we will move it up to two here pretty soon. One thing that I absolutely love about this age is that she gets excited seeing us after we've been gone. I get a huge smile when I pick her up from Lindsay's. If she is laying on the ground her excitement is partnered with her legs kicking. Its so fun! She is at the stage now where whatever I am holding, she wants. If she has something that she shouldn't have and I take it away- she cries. She is a very inquisitive little girl. In the past few weeks, she has learned to sit up on her own! It started out just 10 seconds, then just 30 seconds, and now she is pretty good at it! Yesterday we were sitting on the floor playing and she started to fall backwards but got distracted by a toy in my hand and after tipping halfway over so brought herself back up to grab the toy! When she lays in her boppy she will sit herself up to check things out and then lay back down. I am super impressed by this little girl!
As for clothes. She is all over the board! She still has some 0-3 month clothes but is mainly in 3-6 months. We got out the 6-9 month clothes last night. The onesies are very close to fitting her but the pants are not at all close. We pulled out a few pairs of pants but mostly the onesies.
On other notes, Jeffrey finished is football season and his 8th grade team was undefeated! I am teaching dance just for the month of October to fill in for another teacher- its so fun but sure makes my Tuesday nights BUSY! Jeff has 2 classes left of his masters and is so ready to be finished! We switched to Tmobile cell phone company last week and are ecstatic! We have great service EVERYWHERE! I talked to a friend on the phone from Rock Springs to Lyman and could hear her the whole time! AND she could hear ME!! We can talk on our phones in our house and at work and even around Lyman! It was definitely a good switch. Another change- I am starting to work Fridays in November. It will definitely be different only being at home with Bryell two days, but it will soon be three again (January). I have loved this halftime set up. I am so grateful to spend time with Bryell during the day.
By the way, last night Bryell must have known it was her birthday- she was up from 2:45-6:15am playing and having a blast! We both finally went to sleep at 6:15 but only got to sleep until 7:30 when she decided to get up and play some more! :)

Family Pics!!
We went down and visited Josh, Kara, and Brecken this weekend. I'm super excited! We had family pictures taken this weekend! Kara does such a fabulous job! Here is a sneak peak!
We also got lucky and got to see Annie and the kids. Joel was busy hunting but Annie brought the kids over so all the cousins could play together. It was really nice to see everyone.

First time away
I took off last Sunday for my first nights away from Bryell. I went to the school improvement conference in Cheyenne. I cried the whole drive to the district office. It was so strange to be away from her for so long. I think it was fun for Jeffrey. Although I must admit I was a bit mad because Bryell only woke up once both the nights he was with her alone. And then the night I got back- she didn't hardly sleep at all! Funny how things work out. :) I brought back a super cute UW hat for Bryell.
Jeffrey had a football game Monday and Wednesday so he stayed very busy. His team beat Mountain View so that was pretty exciting!
I had to go to work on Thursday this week for a staff development day. About 7 in the morning I got a call from Lindsay saying her family was sick. I called our neighbors and Heidi and had no luck either place (although Heidi would have- she just had hair appointments all day so told me to call around and call her back if I needed her to- our neighbors never answered). After lots of drama we called Tiffany and Travis- Tiffany plays basketball for Jeffrey and Travis plays football for him. They readily volunteered and I must say they did an AWESOME job!
This weekend was pretty laid back. We made a doghouse for Maddi and finally put on Bryell's bedroom door. Then it was just the normal laundry and cleaning.

I work all week this week- we'll see if I can still handle it!!

It's been awhile!
Lots has happened and I have written none of it. And of course by now most of it has been forgotten!
Bryell was baptized on Saturday September 5th. I will post pictures on this entry when I have them. Kara is going to be gracious enough to let us use some of hers because our camera died right away! We had a pretty good turnout. The baptism was in Alliance and Craig, Lennie, my mom and dad, Josh, Kara, Brecken, my cousin Carmen and her husband Nate all showed up. We were so grateful for everyone there showing their support. Bryell did so good! The baptism was at 8:30 at night which is past her bedtime, but she did not cry at all! It was cute- when Father started pouring the water over her head she actually was trying to push his hand away so it wouldn't go on her. She is so smart!

On the 6th was Brecken's birthday party. We went to that and got to see Bryan and Anne, Joel, Annie, Trevor, Karlee, Hailey, Kristen, David, Ryan, and Brooklyn, PeeWee, and of course Josh, Kara, Brecken, Craig, and Lennie. Its always so fun when everyone is around. I also can't believe Brecken is three!!
We are back in full swing of the school mode- as you know I am working halftime this year and it has been a blast to spend time at home with Bryell! I am attempting to do some 'spring cleaning' while she is asleep since this spring I was pretty much out of commission! I have been trying to be good and only clean when she is sleeping- I figure I am halftime to stay home with her not clean :) and Jeffrey is even supportive of that! At school we have a pretty tough class- very very lovable, but very high maintenance. I am loving teaching with Janessa and the halftime thing is going very well.
Last weekend Jeff went to the Wyoming Texas game and I stayed home with Bryell. We went out to Heidi's house and met up with Noelle and Seren (Seren is a month older then Bryell- Noelle teaches fourth grade with Jeff). It was so fun to watch Seren and Bryell 'play' together. It was also exciting to watch Seren and see what a difference one month makes! Hanging out with Noelle and Heidi made the day without Jeff go by much quicker!
Jeffrey is coaching middle school football again. He enjoys it- they had so many boys that they had to hire a third coach. They have had two games so far and eighth grade won both games and 7th grade won 1 of the 2 games.
I woke up in the middle of the night Wednesday night with a 102 temperature, I took tylenol hoping it would wear off. No luck there, I went to the school nurse the next day who told me I had to go to the doctor. I was not very pleased when I found out I had strep throat. I was instantly sent home. Jeff had a game in Big Piney so was not home until late and Bryell apparently wanted to wait up for him so I didn't get much sleep Thursday. Today I should get a lot more- we took Bryell to the sitters. I was supposed to be at training today so we already had one arranged. I am going to take full advantage of it and get some sleeping in!
